They may be marred with graffiti, need a new paint job or barely standing upright, but residential and commercial garages across the nation are going head-to-head in a competition this summer.

The contest, launched by a Chicago-based custom garage builder, aims to uncover the “ugliest garage” in the U.S.

Garages can be tool sheds, art studios, sanctuaries or a place to park—but they can also be ugly. This contest aims to find the ugliest residential or commercial garage in America.

To enter, upload a beastly photo of your garage to Blue Sky Builder’s website along with a brief description of the space. The company will then add it to its Facebook gallery and Pinterest profile. A panel of contractors and Blue Sky staff will determine the winner.

In addition to bragging rights, the lucky owner of the most unattractive garage will receive a new flat-screen television.

The deadline to enter is June 30.

“The Ugliest Garage Contest is a fun way to share some old and broken-down garages that need replacement,” said Rick Newtoff, Blue Sky Builders Owner.
