Surfkoat's newest masonry sealers for architectural and industrial settings are designed for improved resistance to de-icing salt and moisture intrusion from all kinds of wet weather.

Surface Koatings Inc. (Surfkoat) is a concrete coatings manufacturing company based in Nashville, TN. Its three new sealers are Repel Cure, Deco Guard and Deco Guard Plus.

The group is formulated to better withstand rain, sleet, snow and ice, the company says.

The Products

Repel Cure is recommended for unsealed porous concrete and masonry surfaces, exposed aggregate concrete, broom finish concrete, and new or existing unsealed pool decks.

Surfkoat's new Repel Cure, Deco Guard and Deco Guard Plus concrete sealers fit a variety of applications.

It can be applied directly to fresh-poured concrete after all surface water has dissipated. It dries in about one hour with a clear and low gloss appearance.

Deco Guard and Deco Guard Plus are recommended for pool decks and broom finish, trowel finish, stamped, acid stained, epoxed aggregate, stenciled, and overlaid concrete. Both products are a non-yellowing, siloxane-modified methyl methacrylate, according to the company.

Deco Guard has 15 percent solids content and a low sheen. Deco Guard Plus has a 25 percent solids content and a high gloss finish.
