Roof coating supplier RM Lucas Co. has expanded its line of repair and maintenance products with the introduction of Lucas #6500 Universal Flashing Cement.

The solvent-based synthetic elastomeric resin is designed to withstand all weather conditions and can be used as an underwater repair material, according to the Chicago-based manufacturer.

"Repair any type of roof in any weather—even when wet or underwater," the company claims. It guarantees "100% wet and underwater adhesion."

RM Lucas's #6500 Universal Flashing Cement can be used to "repair any type of roof in any weather—even when wet or underwater," the company says.

The thermoplastic rubber-based product is reinforced with polyolefin micro-fibers that allow for both horizontal and vertical applications.

The cement is available in white or black. Although it contains no asphalt, the product adheres to asphalt, modified bitumen (mod-bit), TPO, PVC, Hypalon, metal, EPDM and most other roof systems, according to RM Lucas.

RM Lucas is a national manufacturer of professional-grade roof coatings, adhesives, sealants, concrete sealers, cleaners and construction accessories.
