NASHVILLE, TN—Clemons Concrete Coatings has reformulated its sprayable surface retarder to provide a "cleaner, easier rinse-off," the company says.

Clemons' reformulated Super Cast is a surface retarder and deactivator.

Super Cast is designed to create a variable etch exposed finish by preventing the hydration of the cement on the surface of concrete placement. Super Cast comes in various colors that coordinate with the desired exposure depth.

Super Cast is available in a variety of color-coded etch depths.

The manufacturer says the product provides a consistent finish that deactivates the surface permanently and eliminates the need for a poly sheeting cover after application. Super Cast cures per ASTM C-309.
