HAMPSHIRE, IL—W.R. Meadows has introduced a topping designed to smooth rough or deteriorated concrete floors.

FLOOR-TOP STG is a traffic-grade, shrinkage-compensated, self-leveling floor topping and underlayment, the manufacturer says. The single-component product mixes with water.

FLOOR-TOP STG is designed to smooth out uneven, rough, or deteriorated interior concrete floors.

According to the company, the product can smoothe and level concrete before applying a flooring system or coating. The product can be pumped or poured and cures to a hard surface suitable for light rubber-wheeled traffic.

The product may be color-enhanced with an inorganic liquid tint, topical coating or acid stain. The coating may be applied up to one inch thick in a single application, the company says.

The finish accepts early foot traffic and a floor covering within 18 hours, according to W.R. Meadows.
