MADISON, OH —ChemMasters Inc. has introduced a dissipating resin cure designed for easy removal from freshly placed concrete.

EZ Strip Cure DR is a water-based, low-VOC, low-odor compound that cures concrete to ASTM C309 and AASHTO M 148 standards. EZ Strip Cure DR does not require UV exposure, making it appropriate for indoor or outdoor use.

The compound is formulated for easy removal with light mechanical or hand abrasion after curing is complete. Outdoors, low-pressure water spray can be used for removal.

ChemMasters recommends EZ Strip Cure DR for surfaces scheduled for subsequent treatments.

Application uses standard spraying equipment.

The manufacturer says EZ Strip Cure DR dissipates quickly for early removal with a low-RPM floor buffer, walk-behind or riding floor cleaner with stiff bristle pads, 100 grit sandpaper, 100 grit abrasive screen, or stiff bristle hand-held brushes.

The company recommends the product for surfaces scheduled to receive subsequent treatments with dustproofers, liquid hardeners and densifiers, penetrating water repellent, polymer coatings or other floor coverings.

ChemMasters supplies specialty concrete chemicals used to improve, repair and protect concrete and masonry.
