The American Society of Concrete Contractors has announced the publication of three new safety bulletins, covering issues affecting structural, architectural and decorative concrete contractors.

Developed by the society’s Safety and Risk Management Council, the new bulletin topics are: Hexavalent chromium, protecting jobsite visitors and reducing risk factors from manual handling tasks.

The safety bulletins discuss points to consider when handling wet and dry concrete.

The bulletins are described as brief discussions of the most severe safety issues facing concrete contractors and are issued periodically. Currently, there are 24 total bulletins listed on the company’s online store.

ASCC members receive a complete set of bulletins when they join the organization. The set of documents is available to non-members for $75.
