Painted finish of aluminum composite materials and metal composite materials will be the topic of a free webinar from Durability + Design next Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m.-noon Eastern (8 a.m.-9 a.m. Pacific).

A free Durability + Design webinar on Nov. 9 will explain how aluminum and metal composites are made, and paint and resin options for finishing them.

Jim Moses, PE, technical services manager with Mitsubishi Plastic Composites Americas, will lead the webinar, which will help to illuminate the following:

  • How aluminum and metal composites are made;
  • The structures of aluminum and metal composites;
  • Finish options available when working with aluminum or metal composites, including paint and resin options; and
  • Accelerated testing in relation to the materials.

About the Presenter

Jim Moses has 40 years of experience in the building industry, working as a construction materials manufacturer, structural design engineer and design/build contractor. He has been involved in standard and code development in relation to building structures, and has directed product development and testing programs with a number of companies, including GTE, Tyco International and OneSteel Australia.

Moses received his architectural engineering degree from Kansas State University, and is a registered professional engineer in multiple states.
