Wallcoverings?? that's a bit of a surprise. Given the cost and relative lifespan of most wallcoverings (style, color, pattern)the cost effectiveness of these materials is a poor choice when compared to most faux painting finishes. My own experience is that, given the option between paying for wallcovering or paying for paint and time, the choice was almost never wallcovering. Of course there will always be a demand for the more durable wallcoverings in public places (hotels, office towers, commercial developments) but these can hardly be compared with the true decorative arts.
